Louisiana native here, I've seen many of these in person. Beautiful homes with a lot of sadness behind them.
America's Castles: Originally broadcast on A&E in the early 90's, when A&E was good.
Pleaseeeee upload more of the “America’s Castles” episodes 😭😭😭 This was one of my favorite shows and episodes are soooo hard to fine!!! I wish it would go back to Netflix 😭😭
I was raised in Norco Louisiana just two miles from the Destrahan Plantation and Ormand Plantation lots of old history down there.
More, more, more!!! It is one of the best series from A&E!!
Can you upload the Americas Castles about the mansions in Newport too? All the Guilded Age ones!i used to LOVE these shows!
Need to get back down there. Haven’t been since I was a teen . And I’m now in N La. . PS: My house was built in 1885 ..🤷♂️
Ever since i was young and saw Forest Gump, i dreamed of owning that house. Its beautiful.
Thank you for sharing this story.
I went to Oak Alley. It was very beautiful, the house was quite large and the grounds were pretty. However, I felt waves of deep sadness come over me, when we were standing outside walking around. There was a presence there, an energy of hurt and suffering and death. There was one very large tree in particular that drew me in; the stories it holds.
