Bob Gimlin strikes me as an honest man. Something about him leads me to conclude everything happened exactly as he remembered it and he strikes me as nobody's fool. Not only would it be nearly impossible logistically to hoax him, but I believe he wouldn't have fallen for it. He knows the wild, is pragmatic and intelligent.
