I think us neurodivergents were star children and we had to mask our abilities to survive. Society makes us feel like we’re the odd ones for being sensitive. We have to step back into our higher consciousness. Star children are being intentionally mistreated and misguided. We can be invisible and fly under the radar at times. Imagine having to mask your true self to your parents because you were born with innate intelligence. As an adult I realize that it was lot internal pressure to have so many ideas in my head and not know how to verbally communicate them. This made me think of the gifted child to mentally ill adult pipeline.
