I attended my first county council meeting today. They were proposing re-zoning rules to bring in a data center. I, with the help & encouragement of a mentor, managed to force a vote to put a 2 year moratorium on any data centers coming into our small town while defining rules & regulations for them. It’s a small victory but at the very least it buys us 2 more years to fight. I’m one, insignificant person but my voice made a difference for our local community. This is what Thomas Massie has inspired a lot of us to do.
