Omg wow, I crocheted that soft beaver for our asexual queen, the one and only HBIC! Love you ladies so much and thanks for the kind words about the beaver! Beaver derangement syndrome took over my body when meeting you two and I couldn’t speak properly. I watch y’all daily and am a “Triple Jen and Pumper” for all three NYC shows! Keep up the good fight and thanks for speaking out for marginalized groups and those that may not be as loud! ♥️
The door dash guy is probably the one who wanted/needed some human contact because 90% of his interactions are void of any interaction; he's the lonenly one. Bless him x
The people who say America is #1 have never been anywhere else
Blue Dot Indiana here. I have lived in this small town area for 31 years. Came from Cincy Ohio and it was like going back in time. Men did not know how to cope with me because I didn't bow my head or eyes to the old men in the town. I spoke up and worked at the feed mill. These old farmers thought I couldn't mix feed, weigh their trucks but were fine watching me throw 100 pound feed sacks on their trucks. One feller actually walked up to the mixer and asked if I knew the recipe for his feed. Listen we are talking corn, oats, distillers grain and salt thrown in an old auger. I asked him if he could make a cake from scratch while reading a recipe. He stomped off like I had kicked him in the nuts. Just one story there are more.
I volunteered for Meals on Wheels. I can say, without a doubt, there are many elderly and disabled people who are very lonely. And they will talk your head off, and invite you in for cookies if they can. I think in this instance with the DoorDash stuff, both things are true. You have many people not wanting to talk to people, but there is a group of people who are lonely, and who do want some type of human contact, but they’re unable to get around very well
My 75 year old mother does door dash for convenience, but she is ready to talk her head off because of being lonely
I am a senior and disabled Vet. I love chatting with my Instacart or door dash. Sometimes it’s the only time I speak to a person.
Door dash driver here. I have had ppl talk to me that seemed like they needed to talk. It’s very real Jenn ❤😊
