Is Anything Real? How AI Is Changing Everything (And You Didn’t Even Notice) | Jim Breuer Reacts
AI Realism, Media Trust, and Historical Patterns of Control
Learn how instantly realistic AI media generation mirrors historical technological shifts used to influence public behavior. Understand why questioning every synthetic screen demands a return to tangible interaction.
Short Summary
- Witness the unsettling visual realism of current Generative AI used to depict deceased actors and historical figures in synthetic media.
- Connect the modern skepticism surrounding deepfakes to the documented mass panic caused by the 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast.
- Recognize the long-term hypothesis that new media technologies often transition from entertainment to tools for testing and controlling mass populations. This discussion explores the blurring line between objective reality and synthetic media, using technological shockwaves from film to radio as evidence of potent societal influence.

My wife’s great grandfather said to her mom when she was young that radio is not good soon they will be watching you in your home! He was wise before his time.
There’s a reason that radio and television was called “programming.” It was always medicine hidden in sugar.
My grandma told my parents that the tv was evil and it was manipulative. My parents laughed her off.
The original "Crow" movie was the first time I heard of them using digital technology to finish scenes of a film using a deceased actor. After Brandon Lee was killed on set, they used computer technology to place him in a few scenes to finish the film. And that was back in 1994.
A.I. is evil. Love you Jim❤
Anyone noticed that the modern homes are being built without large porches? Porches used to be a place where people would sit out on and communicate with each other and talk to their neighbors and people passing by. It’s like talking to other humans is a thing of the past.
It's only a matter of time before they can arrest people for crimes they didn't commit with AI footage as "evidence"
My wife has been duped by ai videos so many times she asks me now before she gets excited about a video. They’re getting really deceptive now.
My Granda told me he would listen to his old 1930's triangle shaped radio (same one he used right up to the late 80's at full volume to listen to the "news" until the day he died around that same time) to listen to Winston Churchill in the 40's give out his pep talk about how "our boys' were doing in the war effort (we lived in Belfast at the time & I was in my 20's then when he told me this). However, what he didn't know was that he wasn't even listening to Churchill, he was listening to some actor (or it could of even been AI back then , who knows at this point) putting on Churchill's voice because Churchill was a complete alcoholic arsehole who was passed out drunk hours before he was to give out his nightly speeches😂
No matter what you're listening to, freewill and discernment is important, always.
