I just lost my mother Tuesday after being her full-time caretaker since August. Elderly care is one of the worst systems in our country that forces citizens into a Medicare system that is so confusing and bloated. It makes it almost impossible to get anything done.
My mother wasn't the warmest, but I miss her. She was duped into accepting maybe more than two "hokey pokeys" which caused severe neurological disease which they labeled "Parkinsons." Dad had the malicious medicine as well and acquired chronic heart failure with stents placed, and oral turbo cancer. Had jawbone resected and has a liquid diet two years later. Chemotherapy and radiation torture and told he STILL has cancer. Over one million bucks worth of sinister "care." So sad. Say tan ick system. Blessings to you all. No fear. Love wins, ALWAYS ❤ Keep on truthin', Jim! ☮️
I can not stress more in how important this podcast is!!! a true blessing...amazing!
My brother and I are in the thick of this now with our Dad. The guilt sure is something! No matter how much I do, I always feel like I should be doing more. Luv ya Breuer!
Jim just your comedy sharing storytelling is medicine....thanks God bless...
Yes I was CNA, home care and Nursing homes. PCA. Morning nights. Overnights weekends. Holidays.
I'm just listening to this, tears running down my face thinking about my mom. One part sadness, one part humored. The "Getting mom dressed" thinking about "Mom, put your leg in your pants, ok now the other one.... She'd take the first one out to put the other one in... And we giggled and carried on... It's the craziest thing to go through...
I'm crying hearing this. It's so true. I finally get a break. Seeing you Jim live front row. I can't wait. Laughter best meds ❤
Thank you so much for your kind hearts and your love for your parents and every other patient and their families!! Please stop this system!! I had to go thru this damn thing with my Mother!!
Peggy is such a cool soul. Wish I have an uncle like Jim
