Jim, man I swear watching you as a kid I didn't expect you to become my dad. Thank you for your talks and taking the time to share with us. You put a smile on my face to this day.

100% on the emotional breakdowns in private on how us dying will effect the ones we love. That reached me, Jim! Agree.

Now i lay me down to sleep........i pray the lord my soul to keep.......and if i die, before i wake........thank you lord......i needed the break

Jim, I hear you, but when you lose a wife of 33 years and was your best friend and the soul mate of your life, it becomes so surreal that you long to be with her again but realizing we have 3 children and 5 grandchildren, this gives me such a profound purpose to be present in their lives, knowing my wife would be doing exactly what I’m doing, it brings me great solace to be in their lives as she would expect, God bless you my brother!!!🙏

I think the worst part of dying is leaving those you love behind and experiencing lots of pain and suffering if battling an illness. I know when it’s my time, I will embrace it, knowing and feeling, I will see everyone again on the other side. Loving and laughing as we reminisce our past lives. That’s my hope 🙏🏼

I cannot believe I just heard that. I do the exact same thing. Literally sob thinking about my friends and family at my funeral. 😭🙏 Amen brother
