KW has been the most underrated and under appreciated coach in football for the last 10+ years. Michigan lucked out backing their way into this hire.

Michigan hit the jackpot! Whittingham is older, but he's healthier and more fit than most 40 year olds.

As an Oregon fan, I always felt dread every time we had to play Utah. Great defense, very good running game, tough minded players. He is great at evaluation of players. At Michigan with those resources? Watch out B1G. No doubt he can coach another 5-6 years without an issue.

Whittingham is the perfect coach to get Michigan past these scandals.

As a Buckeye fan who respects the rivalry, this is not a good but a GREAT hire. Congrats on a great hire! Now it’s time to show Ward the door.

I’m a long-time Michigan fan and alum. I think this is a terrific hire. Highly-respected coach with long record of success. Maybe he’ll win championships. But even if he doesn’t, he’ll leave the program better than he finds it.
