Wow, Elko being the one coach who will say the truth. Every other coach pushing for more should at least be as honest as him.
That Greg Sankey quote was pretty good…..an honest answer and you can’t let the masses who don’t have all the data force your hand and make bad decisions
Mike Elko is awesome. I believe the size of the playoff is where it should be (after we had to expand initially from the more perfect 4 teams). As Elko said, it is okay that it be hard to make the playoff. Four was definitely hard. Twelve is a little less difficult, but going to anything beyond that smacks of participation trophy.
Just get us to football season already.
The big ten wants 24 so more than 4 of their teams have a chance to make the playoffs
