I deleted all social media profiles months ago because of security issues and a general dissatisfaction from using them. I'm barely on my phone now at all, even rarely play video games at all and picked up reading again. I feel much better now.

Just to comment about the Android vs Apple green bubble vs blue bubble thing. I think it's interesting that people can, on one hand, get upset about the color of a text bubble (so much so as to never buy any phone with that OS), but are not upset with the fact that they purchased a $1000+ phone that doesn't let you change the colors of your text messages.
Love your channel. It's funny how your talking about being on phones and apps and I'm watching this on my phone when should be working. Lol
Came here for the phone discussion...and that I used to work for apple. The talk on sobriety and recovery hit hard af. Im five plus years sober and in recovery and every word Joe said, I have lived. It's a miracle every time someone ive never met tells my story. This was fantastic.
Amazing interview you both! Forty three years sober. My beautiful 33 year old daughter was killed by a drunk driver in 2012. If you’ve taken Step 1, God will carry you through sorrow. Thank you for your vulnerability sharing.
My next phone will be an unplugged phone for multiple reasons before I watched this podcast but another one to add to the list is this man correctly calls our country a Republic! I’m so sick of the brainwashing working on society and the phrase “danger to our democracy”.
This was fantastic. Insightful, thoughtful, and still entertaining. Joe’s heart and love for family was great to see. I have kids who want smart phones, and this podcast really helped me feel heard on some of my concerns. Keep up the great work, both you and Dorey 🤘🏽🙏🏽
