Not to be hypercritical, but does it bother anyone else when you see people commenting "firsttt!" On a video about the murder of a really promising young woman? It feels so out of touch...
Speaking as an LPO, her leadership absolutely failed her. I've had Sailors not show up to work before, and I immediately had people calling them and trying to find out where they are. Maybe it's related to past trauma, but I can't even have sailors missing for even a few _hours_ without worrying about them. I've sent people to their houses/ barracks to knock down doors. Thankfully, they've all been found safe, but the thought is always there that they're in danger, hurt themselves, or were hurt. I cannot imagine letting one of my own be missing for that long. I cannot imagine a chain of command that would allow that, either. They failed her
omg josh chowing down the dog food is sending me LOL
Navy veteran here. ANYTIME one of my sailors was more than an hour late I was calling them, calling their roommate, calling hospitals, calling jails. Luckily I got an answer every time but if I didn’t, I would be putting in a missing person report right off the bat. Answer your phone, or answer to the police 🤷🏻♀️ I’d rather you be embarrassed and alive then dead with no one looking for you. CARE ABOUT YOUR SAILORS, CARE ABIUT YOUR PEOPLE.
The fact that they didn't even care for her body afterwards — not even as service members, but just human beings — so her mother had to see her in that way. She has to live with that, and she's still pushing for reform.
These poor young women encouraged into military service and not protected at all from known domestic abusers and violent predators. I feel so sorry for their families, the military protects itself, human loss is collateral damage to them. There is no compassion and little humanity. May Angie rest in peace and her family get justice for in her name.
The fact that this wasn’t national news and I’m hearing about it for the first time watching it now speaks volumes
How many women in the military need to be killed by a predator before the military actually does something? These stories are almost always the same. It’s such a sad thing.
Honestly the fact that the mom immediately started freaking out doesn’t surprise me. Ever since Vanessa Guillén my mom is scared for me being in the military. She doesn’t trust it anymore
Hey Kendall you’re not just a YouTuber who covers true crime YOU are an activist. That just came to me. Any support your viewers gives you is also activism.
