I went out with an egotistical chef in the city I live in and he became obnoxious, angry, hostile and verbally abusive in the car when he found out I don't eat veal. I told him to stop the car at a busy intersection, got out and phoned a friend to pick me up. I'd had more than enough of his tirade. Looking back, I guess I'm lucky he didn't beat me to death.
