Teacher Locked Up for Having Sex with 11-Year-Old Boy

A former Illinois substitute teacher, Alley Bardfield, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after admitting she sexually assaulted an 11-year-old student. Prosecutors revealed she not only abused the child but also sent nude photos, gave him money and gifts, and tried to blame him when confronted by police. Bardfield will serve at least 85% of her sentence, face lifetime sex offender registration, and is being sued along with the Decatur school district by the victim’s family, who allege there may be more victims.
