Mom Charged with Murder in Daughter’s Dumpster Disappearance

Alabama mother Adrienne Reid was charged this week with capital murder and abuse of a corpse in the death of her two-year-old daughter Genesis, after she was reported missing on February 16, 2026. According to prosecutors, Genesis was killed and thrown in a dumpster on Christmas night, and Adrienne left behind a trail of lies to investigators for over 8 weeks.
