The background story on how this unfolded is absolutely nuts. Catherine Hoggle was not allowed to drive or be alone with her children because of her severe mental health history (schizophrenia with psychotic episodes) and extensive medication she was on, but her father gave her the keys to his vehicle and let her take off with her kids to go get pizza. When she returned without them her parents accepted her explanation. Once her baby daddy got wind of the situation, and she was being evasive about where the kids were, on the way to notify the police she asked him to stop at a Chick Fil A for a drink and then took off running when she went back inside for a refill. Took four days for her to be located and by that point was off her meds and kept changing her story as to where the kids were. It’s incredibly sad but was entirely preventable.
If the kids are missing and mom was the main person caring for them.... then it doesn't matter that they can't find bodies. She's to blame for their absence. Regardless of any lack of evidence, she is the mom. Where are her kids?
Her parents should been charged with something they allowed her to take the kids alone even though they were not be left with her alone. So sad
I live in the county where this occurred. Her family made a care plan that she should never be left alone with the children and yet her father was alright with her letting her take his grandchild for pizza ALONE as a self esteem booster. WILD
why is the family member, who tossed her the keys, knowing about the agreement, not being charged in some way? they knew the risk. they knew the danger. and still said eh f it take the keys?
I remember when this first happened. She was, in my opinion, definitely off her rocker. Her family knew it
No matter ... she still needs to be held accountable for the fact that her children were last seen with her and can not be produced now!!!
The family member that let her go by herself when she wasn't allow too ans had a family plane that family member should be in prison
Her dad should get some consequences for allowing her to take the kid unsupervised.
