After more than a year of mystery surrounding the disappearance of Jill Kloppenburg in Lowell, Massachusetts, a tip led police to a suspect who allegedly confessed to killing her and hiding her body beneath his garage floor. Authorities discovered human remains buried under a patched section of concrete at the suspect’s home, revealing what had been hidden in plain sight. The suspect, Shawn Sullivan, now faces multiple charges including murder, as prosecutors say he admitted to shooting Jill and concealing her body, while his defense argues the case should be considered manslaughter.
