ALL HELL Break Loose as Trump LOSES ALL CONTROL on STREETS

Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian are joined by civil rights attorney Greg Kirakosian to discuss a shocking case where off-duty Border Patrol agent Gerardo Rodriguez held a 17-year-old Mexican-American U.S. citizen at gunpoint in Temecula, California. Greg represents the teenager and explains that on November 10th at 10 PM, Rodriguez—wearing pajamas—grabbed his service weapon and badge after hearing activity on his street, then confronted the teen who was simply dropping friends off. Surveillance video shows Rodriguez marching down the street with his gun drawn, ordering the terrified teen out of his car at gunpoint, and demanding documentation while asking "where are you from" and threatening to run him through federal databases. Greg explains that despite being off-duty, Rodriguez was acting "under color of law" by using his badge and authority, making the federal government liable. Neighbors intervened to help the teenager, and Riverside County Sheriff's Department arrested Rodriguez on three felony charges: assault with a deadly weapon, assault by a public officer, and child endangerment. Greg emphasizes this is the first known California case of an ICE/Border Patrol agent arrested for detaining a U.S. citizen at gunpoint while acting under color of law, and represents hope that local law enforcement will stand up against constitutional violations.
