Bar Task Force CALLS for IMMEDIATE IMPEACHMENT of Trump

On this episode of Legal AF, Ray Brescia discusses a series of reports issued by one of the nation’s oldest and most prominent bar associations, the New York City Bar. Those reports, issued by that group's Rule of Law Task Force in December 2025 and March 2026 describe the unprecedented number of violations of laws and norms by the Trump Administration and reach the inexorable conclusion that Congress must act now to impeach and remove the president. Brescia speaks with two of the authors of these reports, Stephen L. Kass and retired Judge Marcy Kahn, about the work of this crucial bar task force and how it reached this powerful conclusion and recommendation. The December 2025 report is titled "The Abuse of Presidential Power and Breach of Public Trust", and the urgent March 2026 follow-up, "The Crisis Deepens: Congress Must Act Now to Address Escalating Abuses of Executive Power" makes the demand for impeachment explicit.
