We Did not just lose "Abortion rights". That is far too simple of a phrase. Women are dying from this decision.

Since were purportedly revisiting interpretations of plain language, it’s time to address this utter stretch notion that corporations are ‘citizens’.

I’m so angry about the fall of Roe v Wade. I may be past menopause but I was a young girl once. I was a young woman once and I was impregnated by a rape. I was able to opt for abortion but it enrages me that women in many states and situations do not have the option. I’d like to tell all women and girls right now that YOU ARE A WORTHY HUMAN BEING! You are deserving to have a life that You want. No one knows better than you for what you really want.

I am a 77 year old woman whose father molested me again and again between the ages of 4 and 12 years old. Once, when I was in the third grade I had a break down in the classroom at the catholic school I and my sisters attended. I don't remember what triggered it but I do remember laying on the floor of my classroom saying "my daddy rapes me" over and over again. This was in the somewhere around 1957 or '58. The nuns at the school called my parents who both came down together at the school as there was no law yet to have them contact Child Services. My mother convinced the nuns that I was being 'dramatic' and that I could come back to school the following day. I was also gotten pregnant at the age of 9 and again 10. As abortion was not legal at the time, my father was able to find a doctor to perform the abortions with no questions asked. I have never gotten pregnant since. Although I live in California, I do dread the idea of abortion not being legal. The fall of Roe v. Wade makes us all live in a predators paradise.

I got pregnant when I was 20, I was told that there were 3 places I could get the problem taken care of. I did not want the child but the attitude of the provider that gave me that statement shocked me. I chose to carry the child but put her up for adoption when she was born. At that time and to this day I have been pro choice. I chose adoption, but have supported a friend when she had an abortion. Our bodies belong to us not men or the government.

Just leaving a comment about one subject you didn't speak on. Wealthy Women always were able to have safe abortions. It's the poor women who have lost their lives from lack of legal sanitary abortions. ❤

What gets me about how short sighted the revocation of Roe is that it doesn't do anything to protect infants. A woman without the means to support the infant forces her to surrender the child to a "safe baby" box (if she survives childbirth), or worse. You can force a woman to carry a pregnancy to term but you cannot force her to become a parent. Because our healthcare sucks (the women who need prenatal care the most, as well as nutrition support) fall through the cracks. As George Carlin once said (paraphrased) "They're not pro-life, they are pro--fetus. Once you're born, they don't want to know you" I remember arguing with pro-lifers about this back in the day and all they could do is mumble some nonsense about women needing to keep their legs closed and/or "all children are gifts from (G*d)".

Very few people realize how violent this cult is. An abortion doctor was murdered and their staff harassed. Many planned parenthood buildings were targeted thru arson and pipe bombs. Many patients are harassed going to appointments.

I am so sick and tired of people’s freedoms being up for a vote. This is all so absolutely ridiculous!

SCOTUS nominees declared that they would respect settled law. They lied. How is that ok?
