👍 plenty of people use alcohol habitually and there's no problem owning a firearm. Just like The founding Fathers. I personally would feel safer somebody who smoked a joint having a firearm, then somebody who likes to drink

People who use pot are about as dangerous as a pair of old pantyhose. Ridiculous! Alcohol is far more dangerous and mind altering, sometimes leading to violence or accidents. With pot, it's the couch, funny movies & snacks.

6:55 QUICK STORY. To settle an argument about 10 years ago I went to Google Scholar (no AI then) and researched the connection between guns and alcohol. In a few sentences? The legitimate research showed alcohol to be a factor in 2/3 of firearms related injuries. In America, not Cartagena or Tijuana. In other words these nincompoops arguing about angels dancing on pinheads are arguing about drunks shooting each other over poker debts, shooting their wives about cold soup, cosplayers, teenagers stumbling around with handguns they shouldn't have, etc. etc.. it's not the noble Alamo defender argument at all. Imagine all that brain power at the Supreme Court arguing about a bunch of drunks and pretending they're defending Davy Crockett.

I think I would rather have a pothead carry a gun, then I would a Drunk I’ve never heard of a pothead killing people never.. now drunk on the other hand kill millions..
