Trump's ICE DISMANTLED over DEADLY SHOOTING!!!

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian are joined by civil rights attorney Greg Kirakosian to analyze the fatal shooting of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo by ICE agents in Houston. Greg, who has tried excessive force and wrongful arrest cases for years, says the only question that matters in any shooting case is whether there was an immediate, life-threatening danger, and so far nobody can find one. ICE used the same "weaponized his vehicle" justification that fell apart in the Minneapolis shootings, and Greg calls it a rubber stamp excuse. No body cam footage has been released. A passenger in the van was shot through his hand, suggesting crossfire or reckless firing. Greg explains that under California POST standards, an officer who fabricates a threat in a police report loses their credentials. No equivalent accountability exists for ICE agents. The family's legal recourse is a Bivens action or Federal Tort Claims Act suit, but both are increasingly limited: no punitive damages, no attorneys' fees, and narrowing precedent. Greg says flight alone never justifies deadly force under any state's law, and even if Salgado Araujo tried to drive away from unmarked vehicles with no lights or sirens, that wouldn't be a crime in most states. The three attorneys agree: this is a training and accountability crisis, not a one-off incident.
