University of Tennessee just announced they're having to pay substantial settlements to two professors they had fired in reaction to social media posts about Kirk.
Why do judges declare contempt so rarely? It seems like judges are always admonishing DoJ lawyers, but failing to jail them.
Thank you Melba for your legal analysis on this case.
Thank you Melba for sharing you gifts and making this case understandable.

Let’s go!!! We know who is behind this lie… time to dump the Trump and release the evidence
So he can poison the jury pool and they just get a slap on the wrist
Yeah, this case had totally fallen off my radar. Thank you, Melba, for covering this story. Incredible developments in the case.
I was selected as a juror for a manslaughter trail in Manhattan many years ago. Case involved a white NYPD cop killing an unarmed black man. Rev Sharpton sat in the courtroom staring at the jurors for 6 weeks. Things I learned: CSI is complete BS, the amount of f ups forensics did was shocking. It was a high profile case where they called hundreds of potential jurors, and eliminated 80 % of us with one question, “has anyone already formed an opinion about this case”? Then the expanded questionnaire eliminated nearly the rest with one question “do you think cops are racist”? Dummy me answered that question by saying, everyone carried prejudices, it’s whether or not we can set those aside and be fair that’s important. Lost 6 weeks of my life, but it was a good experience (resulted in a mistrial, conviction on the second trial).
