A bit of survivor bias alarm in the beginning of the podcast. It’s a bold and tough statement to say that instinct is almost always right. I understand that we product people often tend to overanalyze, but a huge part of our job is rationalize around the „why“. Why does something work, why does it fail, how to make it better so that we can experience the growth we want. Gut feeling alone won’t do this.
As always, thanks for the great episode and insights Lenny. Btw, the framework reminds me of what the Chinese have been doing for decades now - Copy, Improve, Innovate.
Im not sure i understood one word of this
I've been doing product dev for 35+ yrs, for me listening to him is "build a better mousetrap". That's a fine approach if want iteration, revolutionary products arent conceived by iteration. Thanks for podcast, enjoyed it.
