The girl in the first story says, "Screw the, I choose the bear!" sentiment. Then goes through the situation of why that phrase is said in the first place. 🤦♀️
I feel like I should buy a membership just cause Joel doesn’t disrupt my listening pleasure with annoying ads ❤
1st girl tell me you're a pick me girl without telling me you're a pick me girl 😂
The phrase choose the bear is literally because a bear can only RIP you but a man can do that along with any other unthinkable thing
Story 3 girl is clearly as dense as possible. Choosing to ignore the likely possibility that her bf feels guilty for sleeping through an intruder he saw in their tent she creates an accusatory story surrounding him. He should have left that toxicity directly after that camping trip. Yikes.
1:10 "I'm so over that, "i choose the bear" bullcrap. Like, tell me you're not a hiker, without telling me you're not a hiker" the way I immediately said "Tell me you haven't been SA'd by a man or dealt with domestic violence, without telling me" Glad nothing horrible happened to her, but what a wild statement to make and then to submit this story thinking it's so terrifying. Couldn't take this story seriously.
The guy in the second story sounds like he may have intentionally left his life behind. For all of his interests to turn on a dime like that points to him planning his own disappearance via the camping trip.

"--just a theory. A game theory on my part," But where is the LORE?
I’m normally just a listener but that last camping story made me think that it was some sort of forest creature that drank his cocoa and was repaying him with the grass bundle. He had nothing to fear at all.
