That third story about the homeless man who killed the girl on the golf ⛳️ course. That girl was my brother's long tern gf. They both went to Iowa State, and she had a bright future as a potential professional golfer. She dated my brother for years, and she was pretty much a part of our family, and because her family lived in Spain, she was always with our family at every family function. She was a very sweet girl. My family took it very hard that day when she was murdered on the golf course in broad daylight. Especially my mom.

CPS is so back asswards. They immediately take a baby away from parents who are obviously not harming it, yet there is case after case after case of babies and children dying after years of horrific, prolonged, targeted abuse where CPS failed to intervene even while given numerous opportunities. It'd be comical if it weren't so f*u king tragic. 😩

First story has me wondering if the bones he dropped off at the rescue were actually animal bones 😳

I have a quick story. When I was in school we had a teacher whom we all loved. He was funny and kind. He was our favourite teacher. One day he didn’t show up to work and we were all sad and couldn’t understand why everyone was acting like he didn’t exist and then I demanded some answers. Turned out he was a serial killer who specifically went after children. They could only prove one murder was committed by him but they suspect that there were around 15-20 bodies on his list. We were shocked to say the least.

What disturbed her more was the "possibility" of being friends with a killer and not simply being friends with an abuser... Yikes.

So you had a man- high or not- sit up and describe to you how he killed two women and not only did you not go to the police but you also stayed friends with him. THEN, have the opportunity to at least save one person from said man and still do nothing… you are just as guilty as him at this point.

The tough revelations of parenthood, when one of the worst possibilities happens, was my favorite story of this batch. Great audio quality as always.

As a young first time mom of a two year old, that last story is my very worst fear and I actually teared up during it
