Story 3, bush pilot in Alaska. A friend who graduated high school a year before I did in 1975, after he graduated, he got his pilot license and moved to Alaska to fulfill his dream. Not even a year in, he and his Cessna disappeared, seemingly forever. Everyone in our high school was devastated as he was the kind of guy everyone liked. Wherever you are, Russell Santema from Rock Valley, Iowa, rest in peace my wrestling practice partner.

Got drunk and really sad and cried my guts out, but now I'm ready to lay down and listen to some Joel. Thanks for bringing me comfort even on my worst nights

I went to the ER yesterday after having weird chest pains and heart palpitations. Got diagnosed with anxiety and have been put on an anti anxiety medication. I haven’t been on any type of meds in almost 7 years…. It makes me really sleepy so going to try to sleep with this playing. Joel, I’m so thankful for you and your videos.
