That Old Ben story is both sad yet horrifying. Somewhere, right at this moment, there's an old guy alone in the woods, devoid of the regular human contact we take for granted. Nevertheless, the idea of such a detached person stalking me in the woods, not knowing what he'll do next, is utterly terrifying.
The Old Ben story was so good! I hope the lady who submitted it reads this. You’re an excellent writer. Please keep writing.

I live in oregon, it was several years ago that I gave a ride to an old man who I found wandering his way down the road towards Ashland, he said he lived back in the woods and mostly off the land, he wanted some weed because I dropped him off at a dispensary. I found out a few days later that he was known as 'Old Ben' he didnt do the creepy repeating stuff like in the video, and was relatively clean. The PCT runs near there, I think, I wonder if he was an inspiration to that story though.
The Ben story was really creepy, horrible to think about being in such a crazy situation!
That part of the story of old Ben that repeats twice kinda freaked me out. 38:40
