Is this what being first to the party feels like.
Having this pop up a day before a trip to Mexico just hits different ✨
Being induced with my baby girl in about 8 hours, i couldn't think of a better way to drift off to sleep. Perfect timing - thanks joel!! ❤
I only visited Mexico once, for my sister’s wedding in May of 2019. It was Guanajuato, Mexico, to be precise, which is an inland town. We stayed in a humble and historical hotel called Plaza del Sol (if I recall correctly) which served breakfast with coffee. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and coffee. I was there for four days and one of the days fell on “Mexican Mother’s Day” (May 10th). There were several feral dogs roaming about, a bunch of pigeons (which I fed my leftover bread), mariachis, and of course the various food and souvenirs shops/vendors. I enjoyed the trip so much that I cried on the plane trip back.😂

Joel-- thank you for this video. Mexico stories are my favorite as I have spent many of the days of my childhood with my family in rural Michoacan. It is a gorgeous place, and I wish it was safer so the whole world could enjoy its beauty. I actually have lots of stories I could share-- whether personal or a couple I have picked up from friends and family. I hope to be able to hear more like these in the future and am thinking of even writing down mine to submit. Vaya con dios, and thank you for all the work you do. I have all your videos from the past two years watched and I love seeing new ones pop up in my feed.
I was going to shower but going to Mexico sounds better
Being a local mexican and listening to all of these stories makes me proud and ashamed at the same time lol
The second story is a good guide for what to avoid while traveling in unknown countries. Don’t leave the safety net of the resorts that are there to assure you enjoy your stay safely and especially don’t do so while in an inebriated state of mind. Tourists are often targeted by those with criminal proclivities. I’m really glad they got out mostly unscathed.
Attacking innocents is a cowardly act. Fight the other gang. Keep innocents out of it. 39:33
