I rented a room while going to the uni, the landlord lived in one room and rented out the other two. Every now and then I travelled home for weekends and recess. Once coming back early in the morning I found the room door unlocked and a random guy sleeping in the bed, on my pillow. The landlord had a spare key and apparently let other people stay in my room for extra cash when he thought I wasn't around. And I kept all my stuff in that room... Having kicked the random guy out and told the landlord what a POS he was, his only complaint to me was that I had come back "too early". I started to look for another place. Then a resident from the building approached me and told me to be careful with this man and that the girls in the other room had left running upon their privacy being violated in a despicable way. I could only imagine what that meant, but it reminded me of the time he had "accidentally" walked in while me and my gf were having a good time so I got the picture. I was out of there, that guy was a creep.

That last story resounded with me, I was jogging once and then decided to take a break on the sidewalk, I closed my eyes and this old man who appeared to be homeless, came to me, slowly. I pretended I didn't notice him, and when he was at a 5 feet distance, I stood up and faced him, asked him what he was trying to do, and he got mad and said, he just wanted to pass by me. He clearly wanted to jump me. I walked away and left him talking alone. This happened in Peru.
