The proper way to handle the overly touchy manager would have been to beat the breaks off of him.
i guffawed and rolled my eyes when i heard op's message to melinda. you never actually were there for her before the stabbing, so why in the world would they say they'd be there now? and what kind of line was "blame you for nothing", like you had any right to blame her for anything? the only thing melinda should hear from them are apologies.
The OP of story no 3 is a perfect example of everything that is wrong in society.
Story 3: you absolutely should have pressed the issue with Luke. If he really doesn't remember his actions, he needs to know the seriousness of them. You being "so willing to get past it all" and forget it minimizes his behavior and makes him think it's no big deal. As a result he'll continue this behavior. That is not okay.
the story about the homeless man is terrifying and tragic. Luke is gonna kill someone
46:10 "we're there for you if you need us" I'm sorry but thats total bullshit. They knew she was being abused and chose to do absolutely nothing about it. They could've at least tried to help, but they just ignored it. I hope for Melinda's sake she doesn't reach out to them.
How sad that the man in the last story wasn't there to support Melinda when she needed it.
