Saying, " Get off me, don't touch me," is indicative of forced sexual abuse and / or unwanted touching, held against his will. Also, the slow despondent walking and ignoring the others sounds like he was experiencing shock and what followed after sickened with a deep depression state. It could be he could not discern in the dark who his attackers were. Kevin was probably released when his friends were in the house yelling for him and was released because of the attention that they would bring. It was demolished not too long afterward despite being a historical structure likely because it was a den of pedophiliac squatters. Kevin's mother likely knows the truth, and since the group were kids, they were not privy to the inner workings of the household and what came after for Kevin. She likely made complaints about the happenings and dangers to have the structure finally demolished. Since Kevin was so withholding nothing beyond that criminally. It most probably wasn't the only complaint either. The drug use is also a telltale sign of sexual trauma and the shame and stigma that comes with it unable to speak of the silent horror. Op should have talked to Kevin's family now that they are adults and Kevin is deceased.

The story about Kevin had me so invested. I really wanted to know what happened. Sad we never got to know. Some people think that maybe he has been assaulted in that house and that’s why he acted like that when being touched. I think it’s very plausible but we’ll just never know what really happened that night. Also how the hell didn’t that one girl get put behind bars the first time around? Story literally said there were witnesses to her dragging away the twins as they cried trying to get away, meaning they saw her and what she looked like. One twin died as a result of them being abducted but they had no physical evidence with all those witnesses seeing her, the surviving twin telling police who she was that took her and put them in the fridge? Come on now

Kevin was definitely sexually assaulted. Almost every single person I have known in recovery from addiction was sexually assaulted as a child. It is insanely pervasive whether you are a boy or girl. He was probably held at knife point or something to keep him quiet. Talk to your kids and make sure they feel safe talking to you and tell them that no matter what someone else says they will not be harmed if they tell a secret to you. Many predators tell children they will kill their family if they talk. I strongly feel there is no other thing that could have happened to Kevin to have hurt and changed him so drastically. Very very sad.

I think Kevin may have encountered someone in the house, that done something terrible to him. It's just a really sad story his life obviously completely changed. It just goes to show you should really think stuff out before you do it. And I understand that teenagers are spontaneous, but there are places and things you should just stay away from. I think this story serves to remind us of how something so innocent, seeming can go so terribly wrong.

It's sad to think,but I have to agree with some of the other comments about Kevin..I think he had maybe encountered someone that did something violent to him..Hence his tears and anger and his unfortunate battle with drugs.. The majority of addicts, it is said that most have endured some type of childhood trauma... I hate that whatever happened destroyed him..And if I had to guess, that's probably exactly what happened..And that would warrant the fact that he never told anyone what happened... So sad!! SIGH!! Rest in peace Kevin...

1st story: if I saw a grown man calling over my child I wouldn't be idly sitting by and watching him converse with them.

Story #2 was more tragic than anything. Poor Kevin.
