I genuinely think one of the biggest inflection points in recent history was Bernie Sanders losing the Democratic primary to Hilary. How different things could be

Crazy how in 2020 a key talking point against Bernie was that he was "too old" to be president. And yet look how that ended up with Biden. Just goes to show that the actual cognitive sharpness is way more important than the age. Bernie is older than Biden and Trump yet has a way less declined mind. Could you imagine Biden or Trump sounding this clear in an interview?

Wow he just answers every question, quite refreshing

growing up in Vermont my dad would tell me stories of when he was a kid. He was young when Bernie was the mayor of Burlington. said he would walk the town. came down his street and talked to everyone asking what issues they wanted addressed. he just wants what's best for all Americans.

As a conservative I respect Sanders a lot. All these years he never changed. He has a spine and principles and I can't say that about many politicians.

This man got arrested protesting for civil rights in the 60's. He's always been fighting for honest and good reasons.

God, Bernie still my goat, “sometimes even when you lose, you win”. The humility it takes to see the world from that perspective. And he’s right I will champion his ideas until my time is up.

He could have been finishing his second term. What a different world it could have been.

As a European I find it extremely funny that Bernie is somehow seen as a radical in the states.
