It’s a combination of sugar and starch melted down with spices, nuts, and ghee, and stirred for 4 hours. The texture is so soft of pillowy and melts in your mouth with the flavor of saffron and cardamom. It’s really an art, and something extremely special you have to try in Oman. Nizwa Fort - This was totally unexpected, but at the Nizwa Fort we met with Mohsin Ambusaidi, who not only took us for an amazing tour, but also invited us to have a home-cooked lunch right at the fort.
