The American Paradox: the only people NOT being treated like thieves are the thieves. Thanks, Democrats!
Instead of holding thugs to the same standards as everyone else, they're holding everyone to the standard of thugs.
If items are locked behind glass in your neighborhood, that’s a sign to move out
Target winds up treating the customers like criminals because they gave up treating the criminals like criminals.
Notice how everything is behind locked glass except the sunscreen.
Target worked so hard to support those who hate accountability, then wonder why the same type of people come and steal from them. The lack of self-awareness is palpable.
I no longer shop at Target either. They chose leftist bilge over decency.
The thing that drives me nuts is I keep hearing about cashiers not wanting to lose their jobs to self checkout, but then there will be 12 cashier checkout lanes and only one or two cashiers running those checkouts. At like every store you go to. So unless you want to wait in line for six hours, you kind of have no choice but to go to self checkout, and then you've got people trying to check out with 200 items and the machines freak out if you remove a bag before you've paid, but the table for the bags only holds like twenty items at a time. So they've got a guy standing there full time waiting to help people with their busted ass machines, instead of just opening up the damn checkout lanes with human cashiers. The modern world sucks.
I used the self checkout at Home Depot. It wasn't busy and I was the only customer. The lady stood behind me and made sure I scanned every item. How is that any different than just having her scan my stuff? I don't see where they saved on employees in that case.
I have a friend that ran a loss prevention company and said that 70% of theft is going out the back door with the employees.
