In my 20s I was frustrated when people didn't take me seriously. Now in my 40s, I understand why.
First lady is living in a nice modern home. Crown molding? Can lighting. Maybe be grateful. People are living on the streets poor. You have nice clean clothes, jewlery. Go say a prayer.
I was an idiot when I was in my 20s, immature, spoiled, self-centered. Now, several decades later, I'm still all of that, but the difference is that I know it 😁
This is why TIK Tok should have been banned.. these people are insufferable 🤯
Why do they always film themselves crying? I thought we were getting rid of TikTok.
Matt is the Dad so many didn’t have.
Senior in high school here— I am beyond fortunate that soon I’ll be going into my twenties not living through the Great Depression or WW1. What a joy it is to live and be worried about financials and a job. It’s amazing we get to be worried over things others wish they could have. It’s all about perspective. Gotta embrace the suck!
In my 20s I was raising two children, enjoying my marriage with a beautiful woman. We grew into adulthood together, learned how to parent, manage money and what debt was. We learned about investing and how to nurture a marriage and friendship. My thirties are better, there’s no comparison. I enjoyed my twenties though.
None of these people have ever been to the Middle East or Africa. You can tell by how ungrateful they are. We are so blessed to be Americans.
Gen X here, almost 50 and glad to be so. This whole addiction to social media is so foreign to me. The idea of venting to a screen in front of a ton of people I don't know is just....what? Never had a Facebook, Tik Tok, or Instagram, and from what I've learned from others, I didn't miss much.
