Doesn’t having a Black National anthem imply that there’s a Black Nation? Wouldn’t that be segregation? These peoples logic makes my brain hurt.
Its not about anti racism..its anti Whiteism
I wrote a letter to sesame Street years ago when my six year old son was only 2. I was upset because he's blonde haired and blue eyed, we're Christians and my husband and i are a middle class white married couple. There were depictions of every single type of alternative family except ours. In every episode there was a scene where the girl or woman was a fire person, a mechanic, a doctor etc and the only roles the boys and men played were the buffoon who was so dumb the woman savior had to come in and help. They never responded and we never watched sesame street again. I've been sick of this
I love how the non-religious like to interpret what our good book says. I find the whole ad offensive and cringe beyond words.
I hated those commercials long before that one. Jesus didn't teach hate but, certainly didn't promote turning a blind eye to sin.
The black “national anthem” is exactly why I’ve quit watching the nfl
As a black man living in Germany, I am more fed up with the wokeness than every other (white) friend of mine. You must understand, that even more so in Germany, black people are just a minor fraction of the society, because genetically and historically Europeans simply are white (just as Asians are not black as well). However, for some reason my white colleagues and friends are very susceptible for the woke propaganda, pretending to simply "look out for the poor incompetent black people, who need help". And sorry - I am sick of being the feel-good-play-ball for some losers, who have nothing else to do in their life, than to look down on black people and pretend we need their help, and putting some black dude or woman into some position out of pitty. For the love of god dear woke losers - please stop being racist and don't treat people according to their race or skin color, but according to their actions.
The foot washing ad is not only ineffective. It's inappropriate to the culture it's addressing. Foot washing was something a host's servant did as a gesture of welcome to a guest who traveled the dusty streets and alleys of desert city dwellers in sandals. It was a nice welcome into one's home and was always performed by a servant/slave.
Weird how every ad encourages us to be more passive and helpless, and never to assert right against wrong. Really makes you think.
"But I don't wanna go to church and believe in Jesus!" "Then why do you want him to accept you?"
