This is what happens when you replace artists with activists.
"Superhero fatigue " is the imaginary excuse Disney has created to shift the blame from their ineptitude.
Whenever a "diverse" person makes anything, it's always about themselves and their diversity. Why can't diverse people just tell good stories without having to write in their own biases and beliefs?
As a marvel fan, I will tell you the main reason. It’s not about superhero fatigue. Not even close. It’s about the company hiring producers who never read a marvel comic book in their lives or even spoke to a marvel fan. They only cared about putting their agenda into movies. They need to fire all these woke producers. Re-shoot any dumb movies they already made. Before they release them to the public so they can start making a boatload of money again.
I think superhero fatigue is not actually a problem. The problem is good, soulful, storytelling.
The problem with Captain Marvel and many other modern marvel protagonists is that they don't earn anything. Superheroes used to have to work hard, show good character, and face adversity. Now these 'heroes' are just magically getting unlimited powers that can solve every problem in the world, and they expect everyone to relate to them and root for their unearned 'triumphs'
Someone else has said this, and I'm going to repeat it. We've gone from complex heroes and simple stories to complex stories and simple heroes. We are not fatigued over heroes...the human psyche will always yearn for heroes. But it's hard to write good heroes; that takes talent. It's much easier to write arcane stories, where tying the audience into logic knots hides the fact that there isn't really a story.
"Arrogantly and violently refused to see the movie" 😂
The people have spoken !! So tired of the elite dictating what we have to think. Power to the people ✊🏽✊🏼
We accidentally walked into this movie in the theater when we were looking for the fnaf movie. And it was completely empty, not a single person watching lol
