They are not easily offended, they are eagerly offended.
They wouldn't even take all those measures if a dead body was found on the site.
You can't investigate it as a hate crime because no crime has occurred in any circumstance.
I can't imagine being this fragile over a piece of rope.
How do they know it wasn't a warning to horse thieves?
