I am so sick of our politicians getting their token wars, for funsies or whatever, meanwhile the American public has to just eat the higher costs. As a combat Marine veteran of OIF '04 and '05, I know first hand how wasteful these endless wars are. Now, in my town, gas is at $4.29/gallon. Who cares when you are a millionaire or billionaire right? Meanwhile the rest of us are forced to redo our budgets to afford to just be able to get to work!! Not to mention the lives lost!! For what???!!!! Senseless loss of life for absolutely NOTHING!!!

Since 1953, when the U.S. did the coup on Iran to elimate a democracy, has comitted 81 coups, wars, overtakes and other soveriegn governments interventions. And here the fuck we are.

However furious the neocons are about peace, it's not 1/10 the level of fury 90% of Americans feel about having the money they worked so hard for pissed away for a foreign country's benefit while our own have to get used to doing without. If gas goes up another dollar, these same pissed off Americans will likely take to the streets French Revolution style, so the neocons can argue about the height of the pole that their heads will be placed on instead. Reality time is here. We don't give a crap about Iran OR Israel. We care if we have food, jobs, money to put gas in the car, insurance if the kid has an accident, and whether the bills will get paid HERE! Now get your heads out of that warm, dark, damp place! The only regime change this administration will accomplish will probably happen here in the US.

The war mongers will continue to cheer on the billions of dollars wasted on the needless killing of innocent lives. It's disgusting.
