Stall through negotiations, buy time, and quietly ramp up production of cheap drones and missiles designed to overwhelm extremely expensive defense systems. That’s how you flip the cost equation—make any future strike so costly in lives and money that no one takes it. Meanwhile, keep advancing toward nuclear capability in the background. Once you’ve got enough volume and protection, you’re effectively untouchable. Then you’re not just another regional player—you’re sitting on leverage over global shipping through choke points like the Strait of Hormuz and dictating terms as a nuclear-capable state. At that point, you’re not negotiating—you’re controlling the board. And this didn’t start because someone whispered in our ear. It’s decades of hostile posture and regional activity that drove it. Timing might be influenced by allies, but the reason is baked in. The real point is simple: waiting changes the balance. More production, more dispersion, more resilience—and eventually a threshold where no one acts.
