Amanda Ungaro Zampolli was good friends with Melani up until recently. Amanda Ungaro met Paolo Zampolli in 2002 when she was 17 and he was 32, and they got in a relationship shortly after. Paolo Zampolli was a close friend of Donald Trump, even introducing him to his future wife, Melania Knauss, in 1998. This is how Melania and Amanda became close. Both Malania and Amanda were also involved in modelling from a very young age, even as minors. Both are immigrants who came to the United States for modelling opportunities. Paolo and Amanda stayed together in a long term relationship that produced a child. In 2021, they had a contentious break-up, especially revolving around custody of their child. At that time, Paolo Zampolli was working either in Trump's administration, adjacent to Trump's Administration, or good friends with Trump and his administration. It is obvious he was friends with Trump and Melania, since he introduced them to each other, and introduced Amanda to Melania. More recently, Amanda Ungaro has been arrested and deported. It is suspected that Paolo used his government influences to have Amanda deported as a way to gain custody of their child. Now Amanda is implying that she knows many secrets about Melania that Melania may not wish to come to light. Hence, Melania is trying to get in front of any accusations by making a specific statement that shows she knows and anticipates what these accusations will be, even before they are made. Note: Amanda and Melania were heavily involved in the modelling industry from a young age, as minors. There was another notorious man who was also heavily involved in the modelling industry, preying upon women who were lured to the US under modelling pretenses.
