Megyn Kelly and Matt Walsh on the Battle Between Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson and Right Civil War
The Civil War on the Right: Loyalty, Israel, and the Tucker Carlson/Ben Shapiro Conflict
Discover why Matt Walsh refuses to condemn his friends (Tucker Carlson or Ben Shapiro) amidst heated conservative infighting, and why focusing on internal conflict distracts from the true political enemy.
Short Summary
- Matt Walsh prioritizes loyalty to friends (Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro) over public denunciation, viewing loyalty itself as a critical principle.
- The schism on the right centers intensely around differing views on Israel and the fallout from Tucker Carlson hosting Nick Fuentes.
- Walsh argues internal conflict weakens the movement, especially when external forces (the Left) actively celebrate conservative losses.
- Both hosts express frustration being pulled into complex foreign policy debates unrelated to their primary focus on domestic American culture.
This discussion dissects the public fallout following Tucker Carlson interviewing white nationalist Nick Fuentes, framing the ensuing internal battle between allies like Ben Shapiro and Carlson through the lens of personal loyalty versus political purity tests on the right. The speakers explore how this division inhibits unified action against the left, which they identify as the greater, existential threat.

Ignoring the issues that are dividing us is not real unity.
You can be friends with someone but still say they are wrong.
You both need to stand up for what is right.
A real friend tells his friend when they are in the wrong.
If unity involves embracing evil, it is a false god. It is better to be fractured in truth than unified in evil.
If you don't care can they stop influencing policy and taking our tax dollars and military?
