I was at a dermatologist appointment about ten years ago waiting to be called in. Next to me was a teacher who taught at the local university. For whatever reason she started talking to me about abortion and she favored it. I listened to her and then I proceeded to explain to her that I believed that I thought about abortion the same way we believe in our justice system. We believe you are innocent until you are proven guilty. So I told her that until I saw proof that there was no life upon conception that I was going to rule in favor of life. And so far, I told her, there is no proof that there is no life. So I rule in favor of no abortion. She stood up and moved away from and looked pissed as hell.

Years ago I was a volunteer hand-holder at Planned Parenthood during abortions. I was so pro-choice for decades. Walked away from the left during the summer of looting/blm/murders/rioting and over 3 yrs ago I became a grandmother and done a turnaround on what I believed regarding choice. Something changed in me and I can't agree with abortion. I've seen things when I was at P.P. that would make one never sleep in peace again. I'm pro-life now as that feels right to me.

My daughter found out at 26 weeks that her baby had Potters Syndrome and would not be able to live without kidney's. They told her they could put her in labor now OR she could go to term and deliver the baby and he may live 1 to 8 hours. They said they would make sure he wasn't I pain. Our previous Daniel was born Dec. 9, 2012. He lived 3 hrs and 22 mins. Us grand parents spent the 1st hour with my daughter her husband and her other 3 children. Then we left them alone with the baby and the other chikdren. The last 1 and 22 mins was my daughter and son in law spent the last 82 mins of his life with him. He was perfect, nothing looked wrong at all. It was they most important 3 hrs and 22 mins of our lives to that point. Daniel knew he was loved and cherished those few hours. Nothing is more precious than a baby which grows into am adult. I have 7 grandchildren living and 3 great grandchildren. I would take anything for the moments I spend with them and watching them grow and become intelligent and such sweet and smart grown ups. Nothing can replace that. Children are miracles that should be cherished.

I had these evil women / abortion predators, come up in my feed on Substack a month or two ago. Actually even one of the distributors. They were reposting by the thousands the websites to get the pills. There was very little opposition. I tried insulting them. I tried being nice. I tried talking about God and salvation. I tried saying nothing about God. They threw every insult curse back at me. They literally fit the definition of psychopaths.

Even at a young age I always questioned and never fell in line. As I grew older, I demanded evidence that was never shown. Throughout my life I've been able to see truths others miss or deny. Here is the testimony. Growing up in the 1960s in the American South within a family of Southern Baptist ministers, I saw the cross used more as a weapon than a refuge. By five, I was already questioning why a faith of love was so steeped in the hatred of our Black neighbors, a prejudice they meticulously justified with scripture. In school, I watched "Christian" boys torment the effeminate boys with a cruelty that was monstrous. The decades only shifted the targets. By the eighties, I heard family members argue with chilling composure that a raped child must be forced into motherhood. Their concern was never with the only baby that could actually feel the injustice. Then came the era of Trump, who became a vessel for every dormant fear! I saw Christians praising billionaires and condemning the poor. The hatred of the immigrant, the "other," and the marginalized was common place. To many, he was a golden child; to me, he was proof that I could never be a Christian, simply because I lacked the capacity for such hatred. Experience has taught me that grace exists in every corner of humanity, among Eastern Religions, Muslims, Jews, Non-believers, and the truly kind-hearted Christians alike. The truth of our species is that virtue and malice are scattered across every camp. It is a quiet tragedy that many who might have been great souls had their humanity warped by the very dogma that claimed to save them. I don't blame a God for the actions of it's followers because you can't blame something you don't believe in...but I do see clearly were superanutural beliefs lead so many. Billions have seen the reality behind the rhetoric of Christian Nationalism, Radical Islam, and Genocidal Israel and are walking away.
