Here is my take on Pete Hegseth. He risked his life to keep ALL Americans safe. No Warfighter comes home unscathed. So he made some pretty bad decisions for awhile. But then he turned his life around, and grew into the man he is today. He fathers ALL of his children. He stands up for his fellow Warfighters. He has shown a degree of responsibility and integrity which is all too rare these days. Who of us has not made bad decisions? And how many of us have learned from those decisions and turned our life around? Some people do, but a lot of people do not. Those who do can take their experiences good and bad and use that for good. And that is what Hegseth brings to the table. Integrity, love of country, and the desire for ALL Americans to be safe. And the knowledge gained from combat and personal experience to make it happen.

Dems had no issue with Adam Schiff and Eric Swallwell on the Intelligence committee, so spare me the Tulsi Gabbert crap.

As an Iowan, I already didn't like Joni Ernst for her stance on the gay crap. But I think she'd be in a lot of trouble if she votes against Pete. Iowa is MAGA country now, so she better watch it.

Pete appeared dedicated delivering such a strong statement. I agree with you Michael if Trump/Trump team allows one more pick to be taken down, this will be 2016 like cabinet all over again.

In protestant churches in my area, younger couples are flocking to churches that have more traditional music, too. There is an emphasis on fewer, solely acoustic instruments, or even just a piano. I've noticed a return to the basics among those who are believers. It's really refreshing to me, who grew up in a charismatic mega church that I felt lacked a depth of understanding of the gospel.

To me, it seems like the only people who have "allegiance to foreign nations" are all of the ones accusing others of that exact thing...

The girl, Lily, is honestly a heartbreaking story. Josh Pieters spent some time with her and made a short documentary about it—really good video. But it's devastating to see; she broke down after it was finished, and the interviewer seemed to be the only one concerned about her (she had a team of nine who seemed completely indifferent). It's terrible...I'm not confident at all that she really wants to do the 1000. I think anyone who saw the documentary and how she was afterward would draw that conclusion as well.
