Like Iran, even Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya all have old monarchies that could've (and should've) been restored after the depositions of The Taliban, Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi, respectively. But instead, for some reason America thought that republicanism would be better for those countries, but of course: it wasn't.
I always told my children 2 things no matter how smart you think you are there is not a person on the planet you can't learn from and ancient people may have been smarter than us because they had to be. The literally built the world
