Atheists don't understand that Christians don't get angry when they don't believe (that's a Hollywood trope). We feel sad. We feel a loss.
The free will argument is dumb, if i set down candy, and green beans and let my 6 year old choose, I absolutely know what she's going to choose. It doesn't take away her free will.
I used to be a non believer. I went through a lot of trauma and a lot of loss as a young man, I lost my mother to cancer at 15 she was 42 so my big sister and I became very close. Unfortunately 4 years after my mother passed my sister learned she had a rare type of stomach cancer, it killed her in just 2 months. She was 25. So the only family I had left was my father but after losing the love of his life and his only daughter he became an empty shell of his former self. Drugs and alcohol ruined him and he ended up taking his own life. I dived into a heroin addiction and it inevitably led to an overdose. After the paramedics brought me back to this plain I never touched that stuff again. I seen where I was headed and it utterly terrified me! I've been sober for 8 years now and I talk to God every single day. I still miss having a family especially this time of year. But I know that they would not want me to be so sad so I try to think about the good times ya know. Anyway if you've read all of what I had to say then thank you. It feels good to let it out sometimes. Even to strangers.😅 Merry Christmas 🎄
I was an "angry atheist" for over 10 years. It's never too late to come back to Christ.
4:40 I was raised in an atheist family even mocking Christianity. But at age 25 I encountered Jesus and it changed my life. Also, our bodies fail because of sin. God’s perfect design for us who’ve been saved will be lived in eternity.
A young woman was passionately handing out pamphlets arguing against God’s existence. When asked why she was so committed to opposing something she claimed didn’t exist, the irony became clear: no one spends that much energy fighting against what they truly believe is imaginary. Her passion revealed an inner struggle, her denial of God wasn’t indifference but rebellion, suggesting that deep down, she couldn’t escape the significance of the very thing she opposed.
This video is an excellent example that an Evangelical and a Catholic can be good friends
0:17 I don't care if I believe the same thing as this woman the simple fact that she explains somebody else's viewpoint like that would immediately disqualify her from being listened to
Neither of my parents were Christian, and I wasn’t raised Christian. A girl’s Mom from school picked me up and took me to church where I heard the gospel for the very first time. I felt my sin, immediately repented, and wanted to live for Jesus. Nobody pressured me in any way. It has not been easy, and I fail often, but I’m so thankful He chose me and rescued me! ✝️❤️
12:05 I almost walked away from the faith because of this. In a calvinist church I was taught that you could only be saved if you were "chosen", and after begging God to help me and not seeing anything I just accepted that I wasn't one of those chosen. Until we switched churches and I realized I simply was not doing my part, asking God to take away my sin even though I was still holding onto it. As soon as I FULLY gave myself to Him, He took away my fear, anxiety, depression, and I couldn't be more blessed!
