Something about that stabbing in france seems really off. I watched that video a dozen times and the behavior of the people was deeply unsettling. At least 2 people just jogged past like nothing was happening, one guy just stood on a jungle gym while the little old lady was stabbed, some dude was reading a newspaper on the bench as the one guy who did try to stop it chased the attacker around him, and towards the half-way point, the second woman in the pink dress brings her kid towards the danger zone. Also, the stabber and defender were both not so much running as trotting at an odd pace for the situation. Given all this.. 1. Way to live up to the stereotype, cowardly bystanders 2. I suspect the attacker may have actually been on drugs this time due to his odd movements 3. If we didnt have reports confirming it was real, one could easily jump to conclusions about it being a misunderstood psa film about self defense or the like.
