Back in the 90's when I was in college I kept saying this is national security issue. By destroying our jobs and therefore tax base we cannot fund our own without currency and oil manipulating markets with our dollar. Smfh

Feds stimulating stocks means "We will give free money to corporations and they will charge you for it and we will raise your taxes to compensate" but in a global aspect.
When we talk about "de-Dollarization," we are talking about _foreign creditors_ owning less in US treasuries, not foreigners saving fewer quarters in a jar. Treasuries are debt, and anyone who holds your debt is your creditor. So if your goal is to lower your debt, then by definition you want fewer creditors holding your debt. In other words, de-dollarization is a necessary and desirable condition for a country drowning in debt as the United States is. The talking heads on the TV will throw around "strong dollar" and "weak" dollar as if one if good and the other is bad. But neither is good or bad except in context.
