Description

New clinical trial results: A 6-month study shows how a 12-ingredient longevity formulation significantly improves FMD, arterial stiffness, and blood pressure in healthy adults. If you would like to support our channel please consider joining our Patreon https://patreon.com/ModernHealthspan Can we actually move the needle on vascular aging? In this video, I break down a new 6-month, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial investigating a 12-ingredient longevity stack (NOVOS Core). Conducted at the University of Surrey, the study measured three critical markers of physiological aging: Flow-Mediated Dilation (FMD), Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV), and Systolic Blood Pressure. The results were striking: participants saw improvements in arterial flexibility and blood flow that rivaled the effects of consistent aerobic training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT)—even in already healthy adults. Importantly, these benefits occurred independently of lipid changes, suggesting a direct impact on the biology of the vascular wall. Note: I am an affiliate of NOVOS and have worked with them previously; however, this video focuses on the independent data from the University of Surrey preprint. 🔬 Research Summary: The STAMINA Trial Study Title: Vascular effects of a multi-component nutritional intervention in healthy adults: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial (The STAMINA Study) Institution: University of Surrey, UK (Department of Cardiovascular Medicine) Lead Investigator: Professor Christian Heiss, MD Status: Preprint (March 2026) – Currently under peer review. Key Primary & Secondary Endpoints: Flow-Mediated Dilation (FMD): Baseline-adjusted difference of +2.9% over placebo (p = 0.0001). Arterial Stiffness (PWV): Decrease of 1.18 m/s relative to placebo. Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP): Placebo-adjusted reduction of 6.1 mmHg. I have been taking NOVOS core powder for near two years now. Not cheap, but no regrets! I am 66, feel great ❤!

Thanks for reporting on this study and link to the pre print. Interestingly I seem to be taking most of this stack as separate products. Food for thought on small molecules I had yet to evaluate in the maintenance of healthspan.

That was very interesting. My own protocol is closely aligned with the NOVOS core. I decided not to take Core because I live in 2 countries and it just seemed too complicated for a subscription. Given the results, I may review my choice. Thanks.

The audio track doesn't include a French translation. That's odd, considering it's one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. Could you please add it to the drop-down list? Thanks
